Peri-Inguinal Hernias in Laparoscopic era

Introduction: Hernias that do not correspond to the usual sites of hernias in inguinal and femoral region have been described. Laparoscopic vision provides a much broader clearer perspective allows visualizing these hernia defects. The purpose this paper is report two cases peri-inguinal solved by laparoscopy, review unknown situation many surgeons today. Methods: A search terms “peri-inguinal hernia”, “periinguinal “para-inguinal parainguinal hernia” was performed databases PubMed, SciELO Medline; supplemented means engine Google, Yahoo Wikipedia, searching also reference lists similar articles. Conclusion: Peri-inguinal are very rare type hernias. These reality must be recognized, laparoscopy useful method diagnose treat them.
